Maevo AI Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian company. We operate maevo.ai, an AI-powered guide for Canadians buying, selling, or refinancing a home.

• Information you provide: your name, email address, province, and details about your home buying journey including budget range, household size, and property preferences.
• Usage data: which stages and features you use, time spent, and how you interact with Maevo AI.
• Device data: browser type, device type, and general location at province level only — we never collect your precise location.
• Saved data: properties you add to your journal, visit notes, ratings, and mortgage calculations.

• To personalize your home buying, selling, or refinancing guidance to your province and situation.
• To save your progress so you can continue from any device.
• To send you relevant Canadian real estate updates if you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To improve Maevo AI based on how people use it.
• We never sell your personal information to any third party.
• We never share your information with mortgage brokers, realtors, lawyers, or lenders without your explicit consent.

• Supabase — secure database (servers in Canada and United States)
• Vercel — website hosting (servers in United States)
• Anthropic — AI response generation (your questions are processed to generate answers and are not used for AI training)
• Amazon SES — transactional emails including password resets

As a Canadian, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA):

• Access your personal data at any time
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

Your data is retained as long as your account remains active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
